Can you walk to the maritime station?

Yes, if you are travelling as a foot passenger. Hawkins Costa (Calle Joaquín Costa 5) and Hawkins Suites (Calle Santísimo 2) are about a 5-minute walk from the passenger terminal. Hawkins Costa is approximately 590 metres from the inside of the maritime station. Ferry routes operate from Algeciras to Ceuta and Tangier Med; verify your specific sailing with the operator.

With heavy luggage or an early sailing, a taxi from central Algeciras is a short ride (under 2 km); ask the driver for the fare, as we do not have a fixed price to quote.

Travelling by car

Check building access before planning to arrive by car: Hawkins Costa (Calle Joaquín Costa 5) cannot be reached by car all the way to the door, since it is a pedestrian-only street. Hawkins Suites (Calle Santísimo 2) is on a quiet but narrow historic-centre street. Either way, contact our team before your trip so we can advise you based on your vehicle and arrival time; we do not offer parking directions because we do not have verified data to share.

To board your own vehicle on the ferry, check the check-in procedure and times directly with your ferry operator: they vary by company and route (Ceuta or Tangier Med).
